Wanted by the FCID over her having aided Namal in a Rs. 125 million fraud, she has fled the country and is in hiding in England.
Meanwhile, Colombo additional magistrate Nishantha Peiris today ordered the Colombo JMO to look into the health condition of CEO of Namal’s company Sujani Bogollagama, and submit a report on August 22.
The FCID informed the court that she needed to be arrested in connection with a charge under the money laundering act.
To prevent arrest, she has got admitted to a paying ward of Colombo National Hospital, police said.
Meanwhile, Namal and two other suspects already remanded over money laundering charges are to be produced before courts on August 22.
The FCID is also investigating the girls with whom Namal has had connections.
Nitya Senani Samaranayake, a directress of Namal’s company, too, is in remand custody.
