The organization's director Shan Wijetunga told the BBC's Sinhala service "Sandashaya" that it was a clear violation of the Election Law that army personnel were deployed inside the Central Post Office to carry out the task of pasting stamps on government propaganda.
The army has denied it has allowed its personnel to indulge in election propaganda rejecting the charges levelled by Transparency International Sri Lanka.
However Post Master General Rohana Abeyratne claimed in an interview with "Sandashaya" that the process has been put on hold and no letters have been delivered.
