Upon contacting Mr. Kithsiri, he told 'Sri Lanka Mirror' that he frequently visits the Welikada Prison and we should approach Namal Rajapaksa with regard to the matter.

However, 'Sri Lanka Mirror' learns that when Podi Choppe had visited Namal, he has had several other visitors, including Gamini Lokuge, Jayantha Weerasinghe P.C. , Pavithra Wanniarachchi and several businessmen.

We also learn that Podi Choppe was embraced by Namal during the visit and the duo had exchanged a secret word or two, standing apart from the others who were present.

In response, Namal has said he is aware that Podi Choppe's boss was not behind this.

Later, Namal has introduced Podi Choppe to the others saying that it was him who had dug holes in the proposed rally location of the 'Pada Yatra'.

Talking to everyone, Namal said that before he went before courts, he had asked a certain minister whether he would be taken in. In response, the minister has said that although this case has been filed over money laundering alleges, the FCID would not create an issue over it, Namal had added.

"I was put behind bars by Faizer Mustapha who was once together with us. He had called the FCID four times and changed the B reports to make this happen," he had further said.
