The Police Media Unit said the three ASPs were transferred from the stations in Panadura, Badulla and Trincomalee.

The transfers mean that Panadura ASP PMKD Paliskara has been transferred to the Badulla police while ASP AD Prematilleke from Badulla has been posted to the Medical Services Unit.

The ASP in Trincomalee AMUA Atapattu has been transferred to the Kantale-Serunuwera Police Division.
