All trade unions of the institution held talks with the directors to reintroduce the collective agreement that has been inactive for a long time, and get the workers’ salaries and payments increased.
The chairman and the directors have objected to every suggestion made by the TUs, and instead offered a pay hike of only Rs. 305, but from next year only.
Or else, the court case against the curtailment of the cost of living allowance should be dropped, for which a Rs. 750 increase will be made, they have said.
All TUs objected to it, and the directors then said a Rs. 750 increase would be possible only for the years 2017 and 2018.
This too, met with objections by the TUs.
