Only the farmers whose names are included in the paddy land list of The Agrarian Services Department are eligible for the subsidy.

Anyone not having the name in the list should get a copy of the deed certified by the Grama Seva officer and hand it over to the Department to be included in the list.

As a result, farmers not having deeds for their land and those having only land licenses will lose the subsidy.

This situation is blamed on the farmers not given deeds for their land and the relevant list not being updated.
