It is learnt that Auditing Inspectors prefer mainly to visit European and Western countries such as the United States.

Although there are embassies in Asian countries such as Bangladesh, Pakistan etc Auditing Inspectors do not prefer to visit those countries.

Foreign Ministry sources say that as anyway all purchase vouchers and other receipts are sent to Sri Lanka there is absolutely no necessity for Auditing Inspectors to go abroad.

Additional Auditor General Chula Wickremesinghe is to tour the United States in the near future.
