The cost-of-living committee that is to be chaired by prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will make the decision, to be announced by the ministry of industry and commerce.

The committee comprises ministers Malik Samarawickrama, Ravi Karunanayake, P. Harrison and Risath Bathiudeen.
