The photos of the killed animals, firearms and ammunition were posted on a Facebook account to the name Saad Sharaff.
However, the pictures have now been deleted.
It is suspected that this Saad Sharaff - the superintendent of the St. Jones estate in Kandy, one of his friends named Sanjeewa Samaranayake and an estate worker named Raja are behind these killings.
The estate, bordering the Knuckles range, falls under the Panwila police division, reports say.
