The proposals are handed over to the IRD top officials who are requested to provided a report in return, after comparing the present Inland Revenue Act and proposals.

However, the IRD officials have said that it is not possible to do so in such a short time.

It is said that this was coordinated by the Finance ministry.

Attempts to contact the Inland Revenue Commissioner General - Kalyani Dahanayake to learn further details were unsuccessful.
