According to him, they include land at Jaya container terminal of eastern terminal of Colombo port, at D.R. Wijewardena Mawatha and at the Beira yard.

He says land of Trincomalee port is to be sold to India, Hambantota port land to China and also to sell Roomassala reserve land belonging to Galle port.

With the sale of these properties, the port will become a loss-incurring institution, and the job security of its employees will be at risk.
