Asst. GM of Ayurvedic Corporation threatened

The Assistant General Manager (Finance) of the Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Drugs Corporation has been threatened inside the Corporation premises, reports say.

She had come under threats due to not backing illegal financial transactions of the Corporation chairman - Lal Samarasinghe and MD - Ruwan Lankeshwara.

It is also charged that the Corporation is an extremely corrupt institution with officials lacking the necessary educational qualifications.
