Secretary of the commission Ariyadasa Cooray said these ethics would begin to be implemented from next month to bring the police and the the public closer.

Formulated with the consent of the IGP and with the involvement of senior police officers, these ethics will be included in training of all police personnel.

They will have to become signatory to the ethics.
