Speaking to the media at the SLFP headquarters yesterday (16), Amunugama said it would be bad for the government to give another term for a person, on whom the public has lost their faith.

The president will be asked not to reappoint him, for which the SLFP central committee has taken a unanimous decision, said the minister.

Minister Chandima Weerakkody said if asked about the institution that had breached its confidence, most religious, political and civil society organizations would point to the CB.
