Although the CID had gone to three judges urging them to recall the case which granted bail to magistrate Thilina Gamage, they had all refused to take up the case, reports say.
On June 13, the Colombo High Court temporary suspended the bail order granted to former Additional Magistrate Thilina Gamage by the Nugegoda Magistrate’s Court.
The order was issued following a revised application filed by the Attorney General’s Department.
