President of the association Ajith Tilakaratne has written to education minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, asking him to consider the mental condition of these students.

Students who have lost their families and left with nothing after the recent floods and landslides as well as the Salawa Army Camp explosion are not in a condition to sit for the crucial examinations, he notes.
