The 'Citizens for a secure Sri Lanka' says that inquiry on the charges levelled against the Media Studies Department head of Sripali Campus - Dr. Pradeep Nishantha Weerasinghe, is being conducted in an improper manner.

Speaking to 'Sri Lanka Mirror', the organisation's co-convener Priyadarshini Ariyaratne said that Dr. Weerasinghe faces charges including harassing two new female lecturers.

Although the inquiry was done properly to a certain extent from March 09, there is an attempt underway to sweep the incident under the rug, she adds.

We learn that the inquiry panel has already decided to declare that no harassment had taken place, she further says.
