'As far as I knew, measures were being taken back then to relocate the Salawa Army camp,' he said.

Mr. Rajapaksa was speaking to media in the aftermath of yesterday's explosion and an resultant fire at the ammunition storage of the camp.

However, he said that it would be wrong for him to air his opinions immediately on this regard, as the issue is related to national security.
