Government MPs will meet tomorrow (06) at the presidential secretariat, under the chairmanship of president Maithripala Sirisena.
Later in the day, prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will chair a meeting of the UNP MPs to discuss the matter.
The no-confidence motion, signed by 37 MPs of the joint opposition based on several accusations, was handed over to the speaker on March 24, and is to be debated on June 08.
The TNA and the JVP are yet to decide whom to support in this issue.
