Colombo additional magistrate Thilina Gamage, sent on compulsory leave over a charge of having kept a baby elephant without a license, has been granted bail.
Gamage surrendered to the Gangodawila courts through his lawyers today (02).
Magistrate Kanishka Wijeratne enlarged him on a Rs. 500,000 cash bail and four sureties of Rs. 2.5 million each.
An anticipatory bail application filed by him was later withdrawn.
