According to the report, the highest participation of around 60,000 people was for the UNP rally in Borella.

In the Galle event chaired by president Maithripala Sirisena, around 40,000 took part in the SLFP procession, but only 15,000 were there at the rally.

The report says around 25,000 people took part in the May Day rally held at Kirulapone and attended by ex-president Mahinda Rajapaksa.

For the JVP rally, around 15,000 participated, the report adds.
