He said no one would earn commissions through the new projects to build a flyover at Peliyagoda and the renovation of Kandy and Ratnapura roads.

Colombo will be transformed into a megapolis, while Galle will be made a tourism hub and Kandy town too, will be developed, he said.

He said the government’s objective was to ensure a high standard of living for every citizen.
