Investigation reports have been sent to the attorney general for advice, the CID said.

Dhammaloka Thera’s lawyers asked that their client be allowed to appear before courts only when notice is issued, by the additional magistrate rejected it.

The CID has been asked to consult the AG and inform the court as to whether the case could be continued in the magistrate’s court.

The next hearing has been fixed for June 09.
