The tele drama in question, ‘Sillara Kasi’, has been produced by an outsider, Viraj Ratnayake, although the SLRC has enough resources of its own to produce tele dramas.

Its staff is against the continuation of this unethical practice since during the Rajapaksa regime.

They are to file court action against the director of the SLRC drama division on a charge of misappropriation of funds over this matter.
