Transport ministry, Maju Group enters joint collaboration Featured

The Maju Group of Malaysia today (Dec. 10) entered into a joint collaboration arrangement with the Ministry of Transport of Sri Lanka.

This was pursuant to visits by officials of the Ministry of Transport of Sri Lanka to Malaysia with a view to studying various modalities to transform the public transportation infrastructure in Sri Lanka.

An exchange of documents formalizing this joint collaboration arrangement was signed by The Hon. Secretary of the Ministry of Transport of Sri Lanka, Mr. Dammika Perera and Mr. Roslan Shariff, the Managing Director of MajuTMAS, a member of the Maju Group of Companies. The joint collaboration is based on a platform for technology transfer and shared experience and expertise.

These services offered to the Sri Lankan Government by the Maju Group is on a pro bono basis.

The event was witnessed by The Hon. Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, and Tan Sri Abu Sahid Mohamed, the Group Executive Chairman of the Maju Group.

Tun Mahathir was in Colombo to deliver a Keynote Address at the Hambantota Conclave Business Seminar.
