He was speaking at the 87th birth anniversary of renowned artiste, poet, lyricist, novelist, writer, drama producer and film director - Mahagama Sekara.

The memorial event was held at the Foundation Institute in Colombo yesterday (07).

Speaking further at the event, Prof. Mahendra said that even an academic research on the legendary figure is yet to be done.

The event was organised by the Ministry of cultural affairs and the Cultural Department.
