This sinhala film is produced by Maya Nawagaththegama - daughter of Simon Nawagaththegama.

Music is by by Chitral Chity Somapala - son of veteran musician P.L.A. Somapala while cinematography is by Striner Macklain Adams.

It is singular that the film was shot in just 16 days and that all sounds were recorded at the scenes where they were shot.

The London Asian film festival 2016 will be held from March 4th - March 13 and 'The Wind Beneath Us' will be screened at the Harrow Arts Centre on March 09 at 7.30pm.
