Chandrakanthi Shilpadhipathi to unveil ‘Gee Roo’ Featured

Mrs. Chandrakanthi Shilpadhipathi, a globally renowned icon in the field of traditional dancing, traditional drums playing and folk songs of Sri Lanka, is to unveil her latest CD.

Mrs. Shilpadhipathi will unveil ‘Gee Roo’, a CD that brings the taste of historic folk songs to the future generation. Therefore, she names the CD as a ‘a voice from the history.’

The launch of ‘Gee Roo’ will be held on Jan. 10, 2016 at the Lionel Wendt Theatre among the presence of many distinguished guests.
