This is the first time a Sri Lankan film has been selected for the market being conducted annually by the European Children’s Film Association.
Music, camera and production in this film too, are by first timers.
Chitral Somapala, son of veteran musician P.L.A. Somapala, provides music, while the producer is Maya Nawagattegama, daughter of acclaimed writer Simon Nawagattegama.
The film has been shot within a very short period of 16 days, with on-location sounds, BBC Sandeshaya reports.
