King Khan seems to be playing his own fan in the film with the same name, much on the lines of Amitabh Bachchan's fan's story in Bombay Talkies.

As King Khan gives thousands of his fans a short glimpse outside his house Mannat, the film captures the magical presence of the star and his stardom. The film is however, not about the badshah but his biggest fan and his life.

Made under the Yash Raj banner, Fan is directed by Maneesh Sharma and is set to release next year on April 15 .
