‘Bombay Velvet’ by Anurag Kashyap had around 80 per cent of its scenes shot in Ranminitenna, Colombo, Galle and Bentota, with Sri Lankan firm The Film Team, which has Ravindra Randeniya and Errol Kelly as its partners.

The one billion Indian rupee movie took around 12 months to make with contributions from more than 200 artistes.

Its cast includes Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar.
