Kaushalya awarded best actress at SAARC Film Fest

Sri Lankan actress Kaushalya Fernando was awarded the best actress of year 2015 for her performance in 'Boradiya Pokuna' at the SAARC Film Festival held at Tharangani Hall yesterday (06).

She is the 13th Sri Lankan actress who was awarded an international award in 69 years of local cinema history.

At the film festival Indika Fernando won the award for the best script and the award for best editing was given to Thissa Surendra for 'Ho Gana Pokuna'.
