Dressed in tattered clothes, disguised as a homeless old man, Sonu made sure nobody on the streets recognized him while he continued to grab some attention from people around him with his mesmerizing voice.
Almost a week later, Being Indian hunted down the man, Shahbaz Ali Sayyed, an ex-FSL employee and as we all know, a gem of a person.
Being Indian strategized the entire plan very smartly, they got Sonu Nigam to go live on their page, and then brought in Shahbaz to his studio (Who btw, had no clue he’s about to meet the man he gave 12rs to).
The surprise was, as expected, too cute to handle! It was followed by a very tight hug, and Sonu showing off the 12 Rs given to him by Shahbaz which was framed and kept in the same shelf as his awards. Shahbaz’s interview with Sonu was a treat to watch, to say the least.
