Foodie alert : Knorr to flavour 'Gastronomic Symphony’

Unilever’s flavouring brand - Knorr is to add another dimension to its culinary expertise by introducing a multi sensorial dining experience to the discerning Sri Lankan audience - the Gastronomic Symphony’ which will be held on late February.

This event follows the hosting of Michelin star celebrity chef - Marco Pierre White on his first visit to Sri Lanka.

A special media briefing to announce this event was held in Colombo today (03).

Speaking at the media briefing, Jehan Aloysius,who orchestrates the event said, 'Gastronomic Symphony’ - a multi sensory dining experience which sets ablaze all five senses of Taste, Touch, Sight, Smell and Hearing through a unique culinary voyage of gastronomic experience elevated by music.

Sachi Fernando - Knorr brand manager, said that the event would be a refreshing experience to everyone who is part of it.

Shamara Silva, Category Head Core Foods, Unilever Sri Lanka said that the event is poised to attract ardent foodies and that they are keen on making this an annual event. She also highlighted that knorr currently holds 80% market share of the local food flavouring industry.

Gastronomic Symphony’ will create a Sumptuous Feast for your Senses through a carefully crafted music on the 26 and 27 of February at the Oak Room, Cinnamon Grand from 7pm onwards.

A limited number tickets will soon be available for purchase online via wow.lk as well as from several other locations which will be revealed in the near future.

Knorr, which has a rich and flavourful heritage spanning over 175 years and creating authentic tastes, has has been present in Sri Lanka Knorr for over two decades.
