Cumulus provides services such as virtual IT infrastructure, enterprise storage and data backup, messaging solutions, development platforms, device management, business applications, productivity solutions, and managed security solutions.
Jeremy Huxtable, group chief officer for Dialog Enterprise said: “Today’s launch of Cumulus, Dialog’s local Cloud platform, builds on the investments we have already made in data centers and connectivity.”
Despite competitors in the market providing cloud services, Cumulus is designed to meet needs of speed to market, cost efficiency, agility and innovation, Dialog says.
“With Cumulus, Dialog provides a local cloud space for all ICT requirements, including products, solutions, and services, to suit the needs of large enterprises and small and medium business,” the company said.
Its hosted solutions portfolio includes Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offers. Dialogs iDC services includes co-location services via its three Data Centres.
Dialog is the largest foreign direct investor with investments totalling over USD 1.96 billion, according to the company.
