Accordingly, the price of a cigarette has been increased by Rs. 03.

According to the Finance ministry, the price of a beer litre (<5%) has been increased by Rs. 40 while the the price of a beer litre (>5%) has been increased by Rs. 60.

The ministry also adds that the price of molasses proof litre has also been increased by Rs. 110 while a litre of spirit used to produce foreign liquor has been upped by Rs. 160.

Accordingly, this would increase the price of a local alcohol bottle by Rs. 40, the ministry further says.
