One of the oldest serving directors, Lakshman R. Watawala, left the director board on August 24.

He was preceded by Dr. Anura Ekanayake on July 11 and Kapila Gunasekara on July 19.

Rumours are making rounds that they had resigned due to the share market’s decision to investigate the company.

Reports also say one of the majority shareholders of Richard Peiris does not attend director board meetings in person, but joins them through skype technology.
