The four seater has a fuel milage of 15km per litre of petrol.

The car is equipped with facilities including power steering and LED headlights and the creator - Shanka Dissanayake says that the innovation only cost him only Rs. 900,000.

He said that further facilities such as air conditioning are to be added.

He added that the car is yet to get permission to be driven on the roads. He further says that financial assistance is required to obtain the necessary license.

Mass production would enable the car to be manufactured at a cost of Rs. one million.
