He is responding to a question raised by Sri Lanka Mirror in an interview.

As the CEO, Wijesundara said, he has allowed the tender evaluation teams to function independently, and that their recommendations were conveyed to the director board.

No increase in SLT call charges

He went onto say that SLT has not increased call charges, and only taxes introduced by the government were added to the bills.

There are no hidden charges, said Wijesundara.

He also commented on the Hutch purchase.
