Vehicle buyers, make haste!

Vehicle buyers, make haste!

Prices of Japanese vehicles have increased yet again, says chairman of the Vehicle Importers Association of Lanka (VIAL) - Sampath Merenchige.

The prices have increased due to price hikes in Japan itself, not due to increase of the VAT levy, he adds.

The price hike will only affect vehicles which are to be newly imported.

Predicting that a the price of a hybrid could go up by nearly Rs. 200,000, the VIAL chairman said that therefore, it would be financially beneficial for potential buyers to make haste.
