A tour of China railway museum! Featured

China, which boasts of a 121,000 km long railway line, has its railway museum in Chaoyang District, some 15 km northeast of downtown Beijing.

The museum preserves locomotives built in the People's Republic of China since 1949.

The museum offers a total exhibition space of 16500m² and eight exhibition tracks.

It also has a branch in downtown Beijing, in the former Zhengyangmen East Railway Station near Tian'anmen Square.

An official of the museum said the Chinese railway line has had three stages.

One of the features with key attraction at the museum is the immobile compartment depicting the Chinese high speed railways.

The video below shows the experiences from that train compartment.
