Parents meeting their newborn for first time

Parents meeting their newborn for first time Featured

There is nothing else quite like it - the joy, pain, fear and excitement of meeting your baby for the first time.

It’s raw human emotion at the deepest level and now two photographers are working to capture that moment as part of The First Hello Project.

Sydney mums Bel Pangburn and River Bennett capture the firsts that happen between parents and their babies after the hours spent during labour give way to sheer elation.

‘There is so much intensity in the room,’ the women told Daily Mail Australia.

‘There is nothing staged or posed just raw human emotion and capturing that is what we are most passionate about.

‘We always feel so honoured to be part of that moment in time.

‘There is nothing quite like seeing a baby being born. It never leaves you.’
