He said Kusal can apply for a ‘B’ sample test.
If found guilty, the cricketer will be disciplinarily dealt with by the ICC, according to him.
Kusal has played 51 ODIs for Sri Lanka, scoring 1,259 runs, and aggregated 596 runs in 22 T-20s.
He was the second highest run scorer in the recent series with Pakistan, during which he scored the second fastest ODI fifty.
