2 Lankans to officiate at WC semi-finals Featured

Two Sri Lankans are among the official who will officiate at the semi-finals of the cricket world cup.

In the first match between New Zealand and South Africa in Auckland tomorrow (24), David Boon is the match referee.

Ian Gould and Rod Tucker are the on-field umpires), while Nigel Llong is the third umpire, and Bruce Oxenford the fourth umpire.

In the second semi final on March 26 between Australia and India in Sydney, Ranjan Madugalle will be the match referee.

Kumar Dharmasena and Richard Kettleborough are the on-field umpires.

Marais Erasmus is the third umpire, while Richard Illingworth will be the fourth umpire.

Appointments for the March 29 final will be made in due course.
