Opposition leader Ranil Wickremesinghe as well UNP bigwigs including Deputy leader Sajith Premadasa, Assistant leader Ravi Karunanayake, General Secretary Tissa Attanayake, Chairman Kabir Hashim and leadership council chairman Karu Jayasuriya had attended the occasion.

Public representatives including UNP MPs, representatives from Provincial Councils and Local Government institutions as well as party activists were also present.
