Dialog TV and Peo TV had blocked the TV channels - Sirasa, Shakthi and MTV Sports of the MTV/MBC media network due to a special episode of the 'Satana' programme being telecast by Sirasa earlier in the evening.
Speaking to the heads of Sri Lanka Telecom and Dialog Axiata, the President has ordered to remove the block immediately.
He has also sternly reprimanded them not to take such measures without making inquiries beforehand during this critical juncture, in thinking to please him.
However, the reproach had come after today's special episode of the 'Satana' programme had ended.
