Mahinda Gammanpila, Kishali Pinto Jayawardena and S.G. Punchihewa have accepted their appointments, while T. Selvakumaran and Salim Marzook have not done so.
Dassanayake said two other members will be appointed from among several other nominees.
Only three of the five appointees to the Right to Information Commission have accepted their appointment letters, and the Constitutional Council will appoint two new members once it meets, says secretary of the CC Dhammika Dassanayake.
