The brown object, which appeared to have protruding legs, was in the south-east skies for three to four minutes.

The man filming it zoomed out to give a sense of perspective and when he zoomed back in it had disappeared completely.

The cameraman, filming on 15 May, said: 'It seems to be transforming or rotating. Wow, this is strange.'

The mysterious sighting was uploaded by YouTube channel SecureTeam10.

Tyler Glockner, who runs the channel, commented on the recording.

He said: 'So, as you just saw, this thing is definitely not your run-of-the-mill UFO shape.

'I mean, this thing looks very odd. It does not look like any sort of aircraft, it does not look like any weather balloon, or balloon in general.

'It has these things that look to be almost hanging from the bottom of it and the source who recorded it had no idea what it was.'
