SAG winners arrive in SL

A host of Sri Lankan athletes who emerged victorious at the South Asian Games (SAG) - 2016 were warmly welcomed at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) Katunayake this morning (16).

Sri Lanka is currently placed at No. 02 in the medals table with 25 Gold, 60 Silver and 95 Bronze medals.

Meanwhile, three Sri Lanka women boxers - Anusha Kodituwakku (51kg), Vidhushika Prabhashika (60kg) and Nilanthi Arachchige (75kg), participating for the first time in SAG will be featured in three finals today at the Sai-sag centre.
