Photographers have integrated fine-art techniques—such as double exposure—as well as awe-inspiring backdrops into their work, creating unforgettable images for their clients.

Since 2009, Junebug Weddings has recognized those producing extraordinary images with their annual The Best of the Best Wedding Photo Contest.

For 2015, they received over 10,000 submissions from photographers in 45 different countries and narrowed that massive selection down to just 50 enthralling images.

The Best of the Best contest represents a myriad of visual approaches. Many photographers take advantage of sweeping, grandiose settings and showcase couples among breathtaking displays of natural beauty.

Others chose to candidly document the ceremony and reception, capturing these special moments while still composing stunning images that convey incredible emotion.

But no matter what path the photographer chose, all of the portraits seem to reflect the personality of their clients—the most important aspect of all.
